The Process...

We look forward to discussing your project in greater detail when we meet, however, this step-by-step guide will help you understand what to expect when you explore moving forward with your renovation or remodel.
STEP 1. Initial Meeting
​The first step to your remodeling journey is a phone call away!  We will start by discussing your renovation or remodeling goals and determine if our services align with your project.  Upon the initial phone conversation, we typically arrange an onsite meeting with our estimator and design consultant.  Upon meeting on site, we will go over what you have envisioned your space to look like and where your ideal budget is set.  We touch base on why you have decided to renovate and what elements are wants and needs so we can determine what fits best into you budget moving forward.
STEP 3. Contracts & Deposits
Upon approval of the estimate, a contract is drafted up outlining terms and conditions, payment schedule and includes the agreed upon estimate amount.  An initial deposit is received in order to move forward into scheduling and design.
STEP 2. Estimating
​Once we have had the opportunity to discuss your remodel in person we then take what we have discussed and draft a budgetary estimate.  This initial estimate is a starting point to provide you with a realistic budget for the project we discussed.  It is important to understand that at this point in your project no selections have been made and this price can vary depending on finalized plans, however, every effort is made by our design team to guide you towards selections within your budget when we arrive at that step of your project
STEP 4.  Product Selections & Design
You will  meet with our designer to make material and design decisions.  We will complete concept sketches, depending on the size and complexity of the renovation or remodel, architectural drawings and engineer reports will be completed.  As all remodels are different, we also take this time to confirm that we have addressed any structural concerns that are visible at this stage.  We will meet our specialty trades on site and discuss their scope of work with them.  The selections and design plans are evaluated with you prior to ordering and moving forward with scheduling. 
STEP 5. Permits, Final Drawings & Schedule
Drawings are finalized and approved for permits.  We provide all documentation and drawings for permit application and arrange all inspections.  A schedule is completed for all stages of the renovation process.
STEP 6. Demolition & Construction
We begin the stages of demolition and construction.  At this stage we will have discussed with you on what to expect and what is required to prepare your home.  Regular on-site meetings are completed by our team as well as with you throughout the construction project.
STEP 7. Final Inspections & Photography
Once we have finalized construction, completed all inspections and done a site clean up, we will perform a final walk-through with you.  If there are any minor repairs that need to be completed prior to possession, they will be completed at this time.  Upon your approval, we will take final photos of your renovation.  When this moment arrives, we know you are excited to move back into your new space, we are just as excited and welcome you back into your beautiful new home!
